ANGELINA KOLOSEY: New to school, Angelina shares her freshman experience

What classes are you happy with?

Currently happy with my English class because I have a funny class and teacher. I’m also excited for my health and wellness class because I’m interested in learning about my health.

Are you in sports? Why or why not?

I am not currently in sports but I want to do dance because I have done it before and would enjoy doing it again.

How do you feel about going to dances and sports games?

I am really excited because I haven’t been to many and I have also heard the sports games are fun.

How will you use your language class to your advantage in the future?

My goal for the future is to work in the Medical Field so it would benefit me to know Spanish in case I have a patient who doesn’t speak English.

What makes you feel you have a solid group of friends?

I have known my friends for a while and we have been through middle school experiences together, so I want them to be apart of my Granite Bay experiences too.

What Granite Bay students and teachers have been welcoming and how?

All the teachers were welcoming, including my English teacher because she’s funny. The teachers explain what is going on and their background.

What at Granite Bay are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about writing. I joined journalism because I am good at writing essays and response journals.

How have you lifted others up?

I lifted students up at the Grizzly retreat by telling them it’s going to be okay.

How has someone lifted YOU up?

Link crew leaders lifted me up as well as my friend’s older siblings by informing me.

What makes you proud to be a Granite Bay grizzly?

Granite Bay is a good school and because they supply us with such great teachers I am confident I will get good grades. We also have good school spirit. I’m proud to be apart of this exciting experience.
