Jace Schauer is a sophomore and plays for the junior varsity football team at Granite Bay High school. He really enjoys coaching and working for Next Level. He originally wasn’t going to sign up to coach but his teammates convinced him to try it and now he enjoys working with his teammates and the kids.

Siosaia Mafi is a junior and a linebacker here at GBHS. Mafi loves working for Next Level. He says there are very good working conditions and they get paid well. He really enjoys the dynamic of the job being mainly run by teenagers. (Ashley Flynn)

 

Shane Beaumier is a two-way player for the Varsity football team as a wide receiver and a defensive back. He really enjoys the working environment that Next Level provides. He says that working with his team mates creates a new kind of bond that helps them grow as a team. (Ashley Flynn)

Jimmy Deslaurier is a junior and the kicker for our varsity football team. His favorite memory from coaching Next Level is his team winning their first game because his team is so young it was a special moment for them. (Ashley Flynn)

 

Mafi is a linebacker for the varsity football team. He thinks that separating Next Level by gender was a very good decision because it inspires girls to play without the worry of competing with the boys and will grow the sport of flag football for girls. (Ashley Flynn)

 

Max Bartell is a sophomore and a middle linebacker for the Junior varsity football team. Bartell coaches two next level teams, a first grade team and a kindergarten team shown in the photo. Bartell really enjoys working with the kids and teaching them the sport he loves. (Ashley Flynn)

 

Deslauriers’ opinion on the next level program splitting up boys and girls is that it gives fair chances and there is a lower chance of injury. Giving the girls their own league will inspire more girls to play football. (Ashley Flynn)
