Students show-off their sticker style through computer decor

A guide to the students and the stickers that adorn their computers.

  • Taylor Jeffrey, a junior, first put stickers on her Chromebook within the past few months, but she had collected the stickers over a couple of years. “I just had a bunch of stickers and was bored and I had free time,” Jeffrey said.

  • Guide to Taylor Jeffrey’s Stickers “I really like the (cat sticker) in the middle because it’s glow-in-the-dark,” Jeffrey said, “and… I like the pigeon.” Jeffrey explained that she got her stickers from Lake Tahoe, Dutch Bros, soccer tournaments, and “just places I’ve been.”

  • Junior Claire Tong started putting stickers on her Chromebook at the start of this year because she finds them fun and they make it easier to spot her Chromebook when it is next to other people’s. “I just thought it was a way to express myself,” Tong said.

  • Guide to Claire Tong’s Stickers A Far Western volleyball tournament in Reno, the origin of the flowery, circular black sticker, “was a lot of fun,” Tong said. Tong’s brother got her the Pura Vida flower sticker for Christmas. The circular purple sticker is from a club volleyball tournament in San Mateo. “This avocado sticker,” Tong said, “I got from my friend when I was helping her with her physics project.” The pink sticker is from a beach volleyball tournament.

  • Skyla Lang, a Granite Bay High School junior, first put stickers on her Chromebook in her freshman year. “My mom gave me a sticker pack for Christmas,” Lang said, “and so then I decided to put them on my Chromebook because my Hydro was already full.”

  • Guide to Skyla Lang’s Stickers The two vibrant stickers in the center of Lang’s sticker arrangement came with an online swimsuit order. Lang received these stickers from her mom.
