  在学校办公室的走廊墙上,悬挂着一张花岗岩湾公立高中(GBHS)成立三年后的第一届毕业生的照片——1999年的毕业班。一眼望去,这张照片展示了当时学校的风貌,以及它经历了多少变化。   自学校成立以来,白人学生的比例下降了约38%;相反,亚裔学生的比例增加了约13%,西班牙裔/拉丁裔学生的比例也增加了约10%。   1997年,《花岗岩湾高中校报》上的一篇题为“花岗岩湾缺乏种族多样性”的文章显示,接受调查的花岗岩湾学生中,88%属于“白人”族群,西班牙裔学生占5%,亚裔占4%。     自《花岗岩湾高中校报》报道人口统计以来,近30年间花岗岩湾公立高中的种族构成变化可以主要归因于两个因素:人口从湾区和圣何塞搬家到Placer县,以及更多学生从其他地区转学而来。   “我感觉人们是为了教育机会来到这个地区的。我不知道这附近有哪所学校能比我们更好地为学生准备升入大学的机会,”美国历史老师Dell’Orto说道。   然而,人口结构变化的背后还有其他因素,比如过去几十年里来自东南亚、墨西哥和其他拉丁美洲国家的移民变多。仅仅过去五年间,GBHS的英语学习学生人数已经翻了一倍。   根据《萨克拉门托蜜蜂报》今年七月的报道,自2020年四月以来,Placer县的亚裔居民增加了33,000人,西班牙裔居民增加了24,000人,其中许多人是从湾区搬来这里的。文章道:“旧金山大都会区失去了约182,000名居民”,主要归因于生活成本的上升。   今年,11年级学生Astrid...
