Frank Cusano #7 looks into the sideline to get the play on defense as the linebacker. As the linebacker, he is essentially the “quarterback” of the defense, telling everybody what coverage they should be in.

Cusano and teammates waited in huddle for the play to be called on offense.

At linebacker, Cusano waited for the ball to be snapped trying to read the offense and anticipate what play they would be running.

Before the game vs. DOHS, Cusano and his teammates watch film to prepare for the game and look for key details that they could pick up on and things that could help them win. “Watching film before games helps us learn tendencies of what the other team does so we can prepare and call certain plays in certain situations,” Cusano said.

Cusano eats chicken parmesan with teammates in preparation for the game. “Before every game, we have a team meal in preparation for (the) game,” Cusano said.
