When you think of Taco Bell, chicken nuggets aren’t exactly the food that comes to mind. The fast food Mexican restaurant has added an unexpected twist to their menu.The fan favorite Taco Bell crispy chicken nuggets are finally back after selling out back in December of 2024. The chicken nuggets received surprising support from their fan base when they first arrived and are due for a return.
Delivered in a purple box with the Bell’s logo on the front, the chicken nuggets display is quite eye-catching. Made with all white meat the nuggets have a crispy tortilla chip breading with colors ranging from brown to auburn.
When it comes to taste, the nuggets exceeded my expectations. They taste like any other chicken you would get from a chicken place like KFC or Popeye’s. They have a good savory and satisfactory taste that makes them superior to many other fast food chain chicken nuggets.
When ordering the nuggets you’re given the option for sauces: Hidden Valley Fire Ranch, Jalapeno Honey Mustard, and the “Bell Sauce.” My personal favorite was the Fire Ranch. It was very creamy with a classic Hidden Valley Ranch flavor and spicy, but not too spicy just enough. The Jalapeno Honey Mustard was like many other classic honey mustards, but it had a stronger kick of spice that was unexpected. It exceeded the others when it comes to spice. It had more of a sour and savory mustard flavor than a sweet honey flavor. And finally, the signature “Bell sauce” had an interesting flavor. It was a spicy sauce that seemed to have a kick of chipotle and jalapeno sauce in it. But out of the three, it was my least favorite.
Overall, the Taco Bell chicken nuggets were a pleasant surprise to my taste buds, and I will definitely be trying them again before they’re gone. If I had to rate them out of ten I would give them a 8/10, when it comes to chicken nuggets Taco Bell delivers a surprising performance, tasting better than many other fast-food restaurants. Overall, I would recommend giving these a try because you’re up for a pleasing surprise.
