Sierra Foothill League Championships

Over April 30th and the 3rd of May, track and field athletes from all events competed against athletes in their division.

When asked what the most important lesson he’s learned from his running journey is, Sophomore Connor Bilodeau said “definitely to not listen to what other people think. That’s a big thing that everybody listens to. Like, if you’re doing good, or if everybody else is doing good, just like, focus on your own goals. That’s what I tell everybody.” (Keira Douglass)

Sophomore Connor Bilodeau takes the lead in the varsity 3200m race, Bilodeau had previously broken the school record for the 3200 at Arcadia. “I just feel like, you know, if I can continue what I’m doing, I can make it to state with the times that I’m running now,” Bilodeau said. (Keira Douglass)
Connor Bilodeau sets yet another school record, this time in the 1600m! When asked what motivates him in the sport of running, Bilodeau says “I’ll definitely start with saying that my parents make me, like, want to try harder, and they’re inspirations to me. Like my dad ran track and my mom also ran, so seeing that they, you know, have ran similar races as me when they used to run, that definitely drives me to do good for them because they inspire me.” (Keira Douglass )

Jack Marek competes in the 100m dash, Marek hold the school record for the 100 and is part of the relay team that holds the school record. Marek also does pole vaulting and signed to the University of Kentucky for pole vaulting.  (Keira Douglass)
