Music Review: The Best of Pentatonix Christmas

Pentatonix is an acapella group with five members, with an array of music that can be found on Youtube, iTunes, and many more music distributing facilities.

For me, Christmas is about spending time with family, decorating a Christmas tree, and of course, the music.

“The Best of Pentatonix Christmas” by Pentatonix is a must this holiday season.

The album showcases many songs from their previous holiday albums and new songs that they just recently released.

The Pentatonix group is an acapella group so I don’t recommend it to those who dislike acapella sounds. This album isn’t for you.

Otherwise, I would recommend this album to anyone else in a heartbeat. It is perfect for activities this time of year such as decorating the Christmas tree, baking Christmas cookies, or simply just hanging out with family.

The only things I didn’t care for were a couple of the songs that were repetitive and annoying to me. My least favorite song was “Deck the Halls,” because the lyrics were too repetitive. I got annoyed at the song very quickly. My favorite song on the album is “That’s Christmas to Me,” because the lyrics set a scene and highlight the most enjoyable things during Christmas.

I just recently started listening to the Pentatonix and I’ve been highly satisfied with their music, especially their Christmas albums.

If you are looking for new, out-of-the-box music to listen to this holiday season, give “The Best of Pentatonix Christmas” a try.
