What is your role in the stage crew?

“I am tech. I do certain things that most people don’t do.  I’m one of the people that go up on the catwalk to remove the lights or put them back on. I was on sound for a little bit so I would have to turn on the music for a little bit in in for intermission.”

Why did you join Stage Crew?

“I joined because my parents told me, ‘You seem like a theater kid, you should join. Just try it out,’ I joined and I’m enjoying it a lot.”

Do you enjoy being in Stage Crew?

“Yeah, I like being in Stage crew. It’s fun and connecting with people is a big part of it.“

What does stage crew do to help make the play go smoothly? 

“(We) add ambience with the lights, the sounds and stuff like that, that’s all tech”
