Kiera Mogensen: Senior Class Vice President
Excited for many more relationships to be built and making this year memorable for herself and her fellow seniors Kiera Mogensen is ready to take the position as senior class vice president, alongside Kate Broers, senior class president.
Have you run for any other position in previous years?
“Yeah, I was sophomore class vice president and then I ran for ASB president in the spring, (but) didn’t win.”
What do you love about student government that makes you want to come back?
“I really love…the relationships that we build and just everything you learn and how your leadership skills grow.”
Why did you decide to run for senior vice president?
“I wanted to end off my senior year with something big and I’ve really enjoyed being in student government my whole four years so I thought that that was the perfect way to end it off.”
What are you planning on doing with your time as senior vice president?
“I think just planning events for the senior class to enjoy along with Kate, who’s the (senior class) president and just making sure that they have a good end of their year.”
What are you most excited about being a senior and also, being a class officer?
“I think just seeing everyone…that I’ve gone to school with since…kindergarten, just having fun and us all moving on together.”
